Major Duties (Job Description)

  • Identifies mission goals for training program.
  • Reviews work from other activities and check for accuracy before submitting to senior leadership.
  • Advices staffing regarding policies/standards and mission goals for the command.
  • Serves as the interface for tasking issues between USASIG Operations, and CCOE lateral training and education departments.
  • Prepares status reports, academic briefings, and commander assessments as directed.
  • Ensures work is developed, milestones accomplished, and turnaround times are met for organization.
  • Provides staff advice and recommendations to the S3 Operation Chief, particularly in the area of daily academic support.
  • Provides guidance on briefing slide format, slide information required, manpower strength and availability, and training development

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. Assisting in the overall planning of operational and academic support for the command. 2. Creating taskers (TASKORD) while tracking external academic taskers from multiple agencies for the organization. 3. Planning trainings for programs (such as resource management, personnel management, and/or professional Development). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business, Human Resources, Communications, etc OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
