- Works closely with elements of the PFMP, HQDA, OSD, ACOMS, ASCCs, DRUs, CIMT, Army Reserve (USAR), and National Guard Bureau (NGB), internal and external stakeholders to integrate support for prevention DOTMLPF-P solution development and integration.
- Informs office staff of developing information and provides expert advice on administrative aspects of problems that may arise.
- Assists in forecasting new requirements and projecting improvements in daily operations to fully utilize existing and emerging office automation technologies.
- Develops correspondence communicating the PFMP’s work and intent on key issues.
- Creates clear and concise information papers for the PFMP.
- Applies a working knowledge of research methodologies, coupled with expertise in technical writing and editing, to incorporate historical and factual analysis supporting both presentations and decision-making.
- Establishes and maintains office files and directives of interest to the Plans and Operations Division Chief and Director, PFMP.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience participating in the development of written materials as it pertains to prevention of harmful behaviors (such as sexual assault, sexual harassment substance abuse, suicide, etc); review existing policies and prevention related doctrine for accuracy, provides recommendations to senior leadership on the prevention of harmful behaviors; AND researching, collecting and analyzing various prevention related doctrine, training and written materials for distribution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
